Web3athon: A Three-Month Virtual Hackathon

One of the events creating a buzz this year is Web3athon, a three-month virtual hackathon which aims to bring builders together to address issues that communities often encounter. 

Organized by crypto news site CoinDesk, and think-tank Crypto Research and Design Lab (CRADL), in collaboration with San Francisco-based Indian software company HackerEarth, the codefest runs from June 9 – August 31, 2022, with a $800K prize pool for the winners.

According to an announcement by CoinDesk, Web3athon will focus on “coders, designers, community organizers, policymakers, economists, urban planners, and artists worldwide,” who wish to use Web3 technology to solve human problems.

As stated on Web3athon’s official website, the hackathon will tackle these topics:
