Although the Web3 industry has suffered another setback due to FTX’s collapse, the projects in the space remain resilient as ever. While the crashes are definitely painful, the recent catastrophe was actually not enough to snuff out the blockchain flame.

Riding the waves of the FIFA World Cup craze are several football (soccer)-themed Web3 games and Non-Fungible Token (NFT) collections from some of the sport’s biggest names such as Neymar and Lionel Messi. Along with FIFA, entities such as Hublot, OKX, The9 Limited, BLOCKSMIT&Co, and Thirdverse, are adding spice to the festive sporting mood in the space as well.

The space in general is not only about fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) nowadays. In fact, blockchain companies and projects continue to secure significant funding from investors, amid all the negativity swirling around. Moreover, Web3 gaming is also filling the space with optimism. Some of the titles that deserve the spotlight today include Age of Rust, Dear Ella, MetaDerby, Pegaxy, Prospectors, and Skyweaver, to name a few.
