About The Sandbox

The Sandbox is a virtual world where players can build, share, and monetize gaming experiences. Originally built on the Ethereum blockchain, The Sandbox allows users to create digital assets (NFTs) and upload them on the marketplace, as well as integrate them into games using Game Maker.

LAND is the core of The Sandbox metaverse, a parcel of digital real estate that users can acquire and shape to their liking. Owning a piece of property on The Sandbox gives landowners the option to populate them with ASSETS, or rent them out for additional revenue.

As of this writing, LAND has a total volume of 157,800 $ETH ($253,399,974), and a floor price of 1.1 $ETH ($1,766.41). The most expensive piece of LAND will cost you 1,000,000 $ETH ($1,605,830,000), per OpenSea.

Currently, The Sandbox is among the top 5 NFT games by volume, registering 11,630 users and a total volume of $140.52 million for the past 30 days.

The Sandbox utilizes the ERC-20 token $SAND, which is the main utility token, governance token, and currency of The Sandbox ecosystem.

You can use $SAND to purchase NFTs such as ASSETS, LAND, GEMS, and CATALYSTs from the game’s marketplace. $SAND can also be used for staking onto LAND, or a liquidity mining pool to earn rewards, such as GEMs.

As of this writing, $SAND is trading at $0.9732, with a $1,433,773,628 market cap, and a 24-hour volume of $214,260,431 (per CoinMarketCap).
