The AMA was graced by members of the Splinterlands team namely: Aggroed (CEO), Cryptomancer (Developer), Chatter (Head of Marketing), WeirdBeard (Esports Manager), Nateaguila (Creative Director), Edii (Creative), Meokon (Account Support), and r0n d0n (Splinterlands TV).
The session focused on Brawl and Marketing updates, as well as some announcements. Here’s what we’ve learned about the AMA:
According to Cryptomancer, “the Brawl SPS rewards will act in a similar fashion to how ranked battle rewards are given out,” adding “there will be a fixed size pool of rewards available for each Brawl tier, and then those rewards will be divided up proportionally to all the Guilds that participate on that particular tier, and also according to how well the Guild performs.”
For a span of 65 months, a total of 2.5M SPS/month will be allocated to Brawls, with the amount decreasing by 1% monthly. The added SPS rewards are intended to encourage player participation and for Brawls to level up to higher tiers – which will have a much higher pool than the lower tiers.
The team is aiming for either August or early September for the SPS rewards to be released.
