AAA space sci-fi game Pulsar is on the verge of exploding into the consciousness of gamers worldwide as the team ramps up efforts for the month of September 2022.
Fresh off a busy August, the great talents behind game publisher 12 Random Words aren’t going to take a vacation soon, as they prepare for the momentous events that will transpire in the coming months. Indeed, Beta Launch and Minting is arriving this September, paving the road for bigger things in Q4.
Pulsar’s Beta will launch on September 5, 2022.
On the Pulsar website, players will be able to access Beta via a separate page. To access the build, participants are required to provide the wallet address associated with their Beta Pass.
Players who have won a Beta Pass and provided their wallet address and email, will be able to redeem a Beta Pass NFT on Pulsar’s website. The team will make an announcement when the redemption page goes live.
Using the same redemption page, Alpha Team members can also redeem their Alpha Team badges, as well as access the Beta.
Pulsar will be holding a series of mints from September 10 to October 1, giving players the chance to acquire Genesis NFTs (units that possess performance boosts).
The public mint for Genesis NFTs is limited to protect and generate value growth for early supporters of the game. This will also help the dev team to avoid issues during the launch. Moreover, Mint Pass holders are guaranteed a mint with no supply caps, even if the total mint cost exceeds the value of the pass.
Below is the Mint Schedule:
- September 3rd at 2PM UTC: Exclusive Avalanche Skin Mints on Kalao.
- September 4th at 2PM UTC: 1/1 Pulsar Illustrations Auction on Campfire.
- September 10th at 2PM UTC: Mint Passes on Pulsar Website.
- September 17th at 2PM UTC: Genesis Land NFTs.
- September 24th at 2PM UTC: Genesis $PLSR Mining Units ($PLSR Miners, $PLSR Refineries, Mobile Depots, and Motherships).
- October 1st at 2PM UTC: Genesis Unit Packs (Spider Tanks, Resource Miners, and Resource Refineries).
Pulsar’s on-chain build will go live on October 15, 2022. Only the PvE gameplay will be launched at first, since two expansion packs will be released in the succeeding months.
Additionally, the team will launch the Builders Expansion in November, which will add playable missions along with new units and buildings. Shortly after in December, Pulsar will be expanding combat units and introducing upgrade options, as well as new playable missions with the Warlord Expansion.
Pulsar is an upcoming AAA project that combines elements of Real-Time Strategy (RTS) with Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games. The vast world of Pulsar allows players to mine resources, build structures, and battle aliens in a hostile, resource-filled planetary system.
Created by video game publisher 12 Random Words, Pulsar draws inspiration from classic titles such as Command & Conquer, Mech Commander, and StarCraft. Built on the Avalanche blockchain, the game also employs facets of Free-to-Play and Play-to-Own (click here to read about the difference between P2E and P2O).
Asset types in Pulsar include Land, Buildings, Units, Resources, and the game’s primary in-game currency $PLSR, a token that can be obtained by extracting and refining resources gathered from Land.
