Lamborghini: Italian luxury sports car brand Lamborghini’s seven-month ‘Epic Road Trip’ NFT campaign is set to end on the 20th of March. As part of its culmination, the company will airdrop loyal collectors with 60th anniversary commemorative NFTs. The digital collectibles will grant holders access to an exclusive ask me anything (AMA) session with senior Lamborghini executives (NFTN).
Animoca Brands/Planet Hollywood: Venture capital firm Animoca Brands is launching an NFT club with popular chain Planet Hollywood. Dubbed ‘Club 3,’ the project will be released on Web3 entertainment ecosystem Meta Hollywood. The club offers four membership tiers: Founding, Social, Global, and Corporate Memberships. Members’ benefits include access to a private virtual chat, a restaurant, karaoke and meeting rooms, among others (DC).
Pokemon Company: The Pokemon Company, the entity that handles the pioneer monster-collecting franchise Pokemon, is looking to hire Web3 experts. According to a recent listing, the firm is in need of individuals with “deep knowledge and understanding” of the technology, which includes blockchain, NFTs, and the metaverse. The Pokemon Company is founded by Japanese video game companies Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures (DC).
Nissan: Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan Motor has filed four new Web3-related trademarks for its divisions Infiniti, Nismo, and Nissan. The filings cover virtual clothes and cars, stores for virtual goods, NFT marketplace, and metaverse advertising services. Furthermore, Nissan Japan also announced this previous week, its three-month demo experiment of the Nissan Hype Lab virtual store (CT).

Crabada: Avalanche-based autobattler Web3 game Crabada has kicked off the third installment of its Weekly Arena Tournament. Running from March 13-19, the competition will introduce some changes to the Genesis Origin Boost, Hidden Opponent, Factional Revenge, and Level Cap. Additionally, the top 500 ranking participants are eligible to receive USDC, Rubies, Material Chests, Crystal Shells, and User EXP (TW).
Bloxmith/Raiders Rumble: Web3 gaming studio Bloxmith has announced the open beta for its mobile squad battler game Raiders Rumble on the flow blockchain. Bloxmith is founded by industry veterans from Blizzard Entertainment, Facebook Gaming, Pumpkin VR, and Riot Games. Along with the title’s launch, the company will also introduce three tournaments that will run from March 23-31. The Flow-sponsored competitions allows participants to vie for a portion of the $120,000 in $FLOW token rewards (CS).
Paradise Tycoon: World-building metaverse game Paradise Tycoon has launched the website for its Genesis Chest Mint. Players may now visit the site to check their eligibility to mint, as well as the whitelist tiers that they belong to. Users can immediately connect their wallets and start minting their Treasure Chest NFTs as soon as the countdown ends. Moreover, a small portion of the chests will be minted into the Paradise Tycoon treasury as well. In the coming months, the team will distribute the assets to the community as rewards and giveaways (TW).
Pulsar: Pulsar, a massively multiplayer online (MMO) real-time strategy (RTS) game on Avalanche, recently announced its upcoming Ladder Event. The registration closed in less than 24 hours, after drawing in 1,000 players. Participants will get the chance to earn the game’s native tokens ($PLRS) in this free-to-play event, where they will vie for a share of the 15,000,000 $PLRS prize pool (TW).

Tezos Philippines: In celebration of the National Women’s Month in the Philippines, Tezos’ blockchain arm in the country has organized a ‘Women of Web3’ NFT minting event. Running from March 6-31, the affair also coincides with the International Women’s Day on March 8. For 2023, the United Nations Observance of International Women’s Day came up with the theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality” (XTZ).
Wildxyz: Wildxyz, a digital platform and residency program, has secured $7 million in seed funding round. Led by venture capital firm Matrix Partners, the project also included support from Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin, LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, NFT investor Cozomo De’ Medici, and actress Gwyneth Paltrow. The company will use the capital to expand its NFT-driven residency program. In essence, the initiative is focused on providing opportunities for artists (CD).
Mastercard: Payment-processing giant Mastercard has announced two selected musicians for its Web3-powered Mastercard Artist Accelerator. Included in the shortlist are Latin Grammy nominee Manu Manzo and British R&B singer Young Athena. The program aims to provide five musical artists with support and resources using blockchain technology. One of the benefits of the initiative include a Polygon-based Mastercard Music Pass NFTs that fans can use to avail of perks and experiences in the metaverse and the real world (TD).
