Agriculture-themed simulation game HappyLand launched on the Avalanche-based PirateVerse subnet, on July 4, 2022. The move by the TazoGames-produced title is just one of the many, game-and-subnet integrations happening on the network in 2022.
The studio is focused on building “both the virtual worlds of the future and the infrastructure that makes them possible,” the game’s whitepaper explained.
HappyLand represents the newest installment in the TazoGames title portfolio, alongside PirateVerse and DeathRoad: Race-to-Earn. The company is one of the top Play-and-Earn development companies in Vietnam.
Subnets are effective scaling solutions for the Avalanche blockchain as of 2022. Its introduction encouraged the creation of more games on the network, giving Avalanche a lot of spark in recent months.
Earlier in December 2021, HappyLand launched on the Binance Smart Chain with Polkastarter hosting the IDO (Initial DEX Offering). The game allows players to own a virtual farm, which they can till, plant, and raise livestock on. All items found are Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) assets with their own values, rarity, and uniqueness, which are also tradable in the marketplace.
PirateVerse prides itself as the “First NFT-Powered Pirate Game” on Avalanche. The team also created the subnet to support AMM DEX, Blockchain Explorer, and Bridge. The goal of the subnet is to become an all-in-one ecosystem for all products developed by TazoGames, in collaboration with other gaming studios.
HappyLand’s expansion into the PirateVerse Testnet Subnet prepares the metaverse game for more future integrations, making its presence felt in various ecosystems on the blockchain.
