Fitness Finance (FitFi) platform Step App announced on July 21, 2022, a partnership with eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt. The Jamaican sprinter became the face of the app which made its official private beta launch, the company stated on Twitter.
With Move-to-Earn (M2E) games on blockchain, Step App is the latest titles utilizing the concept StepN pioneered in 2021. In a bid to incentivize workouts, M2E platforms like Step App and StepN is to rewards users with cryptocurrencies for their physical activity.
Other ways to earn in-game rewards include staking governance tokens, joining tournaments, and registration, as well as token burning.
Step App Protocol SDK
Step App exists on Step Protocol SDK ecosystem. The team built the protocol on the Avalanche Network, and is open for third parties. Moreover, the company also created the network address issues such as market bottlenecks and rising development costs, among others.
Dubbed by media as the “fastest man alive,” Usain St. Leo Bolt is universally-considered as one of the greatest sprinters of all time. Bolt has amassed a total of 23 gold medals won at the Olympic Games, World Championships, to name a few.
