Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Play-to-Earn (P2E) game Crabada shared some updates on August 2, 2022, on its official Discord server.

“Good Day to our Boisterous Brachyura! It’s been a couple of weeks but FEAR NOT! It’s time once again for the ‘WORLD FAMOUS’ Community Manager Crab Bulletin!” Crabada Marketing Lead Shinigummy said, teasing “So many things are happening behind the scenes. The devs have sworn me in secrecy about most of it.” 

Here’s what we’ve learned about the recent update:

Crabada AMA

The team is holding another Discord Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on August 16 at 3PM UTC.

“We are excited to share some hot news and updates about Crabada!” Shinigummy stated.

Economy 2.0 Update

According to the announcement, the team has already “finalized the approach and goals with material economy.” Some of the incoming updates also include the introduction of crafting mechanics, changes in marketplace listings, and new Arena Mode rewards.

Terms of Service Update

Legal and Technical reviews have been completed and are currently being prepared for deployment. The key elements are ToS ban on data gathering, bot usage, match-fixing and multi-accounting. There are meant to reflect on challenges faced by the idle games which was inundated by bots. With new terms, the engagement of real players should improve. This could be good news for the price of Treasure Under Sea ($TUS) and $CRA, the governance token.

Clashub Progress

NFT card game Clashub, now has over 630 players, with most of them already owning Crabada cards. Moreover, the Alpha is slated to launch in four weeks time.

Daily Active Users

Here is Crabada’s Daily Active Users (DAU) stats for the last 7 days (as of August 1):

  • Idle-Game: 1,769/day 
  • Battle Game: 3,808/day 
  • Market place: 354/day

$TUS Burning Update

  • As of August 1, a total of 2,637,120 $TUS collected from Arena Ticket sales for Week 4 of Arena Mode has been burned.
  • As of August 2, a total of 161,542,500 $TUS collected from Breeding Fees has been burned.
