Non-Fungible Token (NFT) game BYOPills continues to push the boundaries of blockchain interoperability with its partnership with cross-IP PvP game Galaxy Fight Club (GFC). The project saw the integration of BYOPills characters into GFC.

Let’s take a deeper look at the most recent collaboration.

BYOPills x Galaxy Fight Club

Fresh off a recently concluded event with Legends of Venari, BYOPills announced on September 24, 2022, a new partnership with Galaxy Fight Club.

“We are excited to announce our partnership with @GalaxyFight_NFT where we are integrating into GFC alongside others!” the team tweeted.

As part of the collaboration, BYOPill & Apostle holders are allowed to compete as BYOPill-exclusive characters in GFC’s upcoming tournaments.

The competitions will feature teams from across various NFT collections, vying for a share of the $200,000 prize pool. In addition to the prizes, winning participants will also receive permanent stat boosts for their characters.

Here are the dates for GFC’s upcoming tournaments and dates:

  • Trophy Run (September 25 – October 9): The Trophy Run is a precursor to the upcoming qualifiers and championship. This phase is also where players can get familiar with the gameplay, while earning prizes in the process.
  • Partner Qualifier Tournaments (October 14 – 28): The BYO qualifier tournament is a 3 vs 3 event. Players are required to find at least two partners to join this leg. Winners will qualify for the championship round in November.
  • Cross-IP Championship (November 4 – 13): The Cross-IP Championship is the finale, where over 30 teams will compete for the top prize. Half of the $200,000 prize pool is allotted for the tournament’s first-ever champion.

About Galaxy Fight Club

Galaxy Fight Club is a cross-IP PvP game that combines elements of Play-to-Earn and Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). Basically, GFC allows players to utilize digital assets such as weapons and skins in another NFT game (imagine using Imperium Empires spaceships in upcoming game Pulsar).

In line with BYOPills’ plans to push the limits of interoperability, GFC’s mission is to bring together different NFT collections in one space. The possibility of various NFTs interacting with one another (either as opponents, or as part of a team), is an interesting facet of Web3 gaming that actually needs further exploration.

Galaxy Fight Club utilizes one token that uses the ticker symbol $GFC on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) such as Quickswap. On centralized exchanges (CEX) such as MEXC and, the game’s token is represented with the ticker symbol $GCOIN.

As of this writing, $GCOIN is trading at $0.05423 with a $780,089 market cap, and a 24-hour volume of $14,513 (per CoinMarketCap).

About BYOPills

BYOPills is an open-world NFT collectible game that started out as consumables. Eventually, the project expanded into its own BYOVerse, which allows players to acquire various digital assets. In the game, participants can acquire Apostles (characters) and BYOLand (virtual real estate), as well as items like BYOKey, BYO Vape, BYO Craft, and BYOPills.

Apostles are full-bodied, 3D-rigged heroes that owners can use as avatars in the BYOVerse. There are 7,642 genesis Apostle NFTs divided into four tiers: Goddess, Ancient, Psychonaut, and Voyager. These NFTs generate the in-game token $TRYP and also grants owners full commercial rights to the characters.

As of this writing, Apostles NFTs has a total volume of 3,500 $ETH ($4,525,290), and a floor price of 0.14 $ETH ($181.01). The most expensive Apostle has a 66.6 ETH ($86,109.80) price tag (per OpenSea).

On August 26, 222, the game released BYOLand to budding landowners in the BYOVerse. Land is the core of the game’s economy, and is vital in gathering resources and ingredients. Additionally, land is a safe storage zone for collected materials. In dangerous situations, players can also teleport back to their property and stay away from harm.

As of this writing, BYOLand has a total volume of 6,000 $ETH ($7,757,640), and floor price of 0.24 $ETH ($310.31). The most expensive piece of land is worth 20 $ETH ($25,858.80), per OpenSea.

Basically, BYOPills are consumables that players can use across various blockchain games and metaverses. The “pills” provide power ups and other ability boosts, as well as visual effects. Moreover, BYOPills grants holders access to future NFT drops.

As of this writing, BYOPills has a total volume of 6,700 $ETH ($8,662,698), and a floor price of 0.24 $ETH ($310.31). The most expensive BYOPill has a 420 $ETH ($543,034.80) price tag (per OpenSea).

Tryptamine or $TRYP is the utility token of the BYOVerse. The tokens are used as rewards for staking an Apostle, or for future item drops.
